This quest is a prerequisite to doing a quest for any secrets the dog will aid you to learn (Survive, Fascinate). If you do not follow the scent of dog for your teachings then this won't help you much except for the recognition of knowing how to speak with the dogs and the ability to do the Restore quest at a later date. Level Requirement: 1 1) Mutt is located at the Kugnae inns, in Kugnae (57, 146). Head there and say "Hello", he will respond with "Bark!". Say "Bark!" back to him, he will not respond. 2) The Jindo Dog is located around the entrance to the fox cave in Buya (136,135). Head there and say "Bark!", he will respond with "Woof!". Say "Woof!" back to him, he will not respond. 3) The Hunting Dog is located outside of Fox cave, near the Fisherman in Kugnae (23, 172). Say "Woof!", he will respond with "Grrowl!". Say "Grrowl!" back to him, he will not respond. 4) The Spotted dog is located outside of the north Buyan Gates (23, 10). Say "Grrowl!", and you will receive a popup informing you you can speak to dogs. Upon receiving the popup you will get a legend mark "Dog linguist (yuri --)".
